Our Philosophy

Lifestyle is not built by objects but by the meaning they carry. At HASHTAG, Indian craftsmanship is our foundation. Detail is ritual, rarity is principle. Each creation is designed not as a product, but as an heirloom — something to be held, remembered, and passed on.
We draw from culture, art, and mythology, but also from the unexpected. Inspiration comes from silence, from questions, from what challenges perception. In this way, what we create does more than dress you — it shapes how you live.

OUR MANIFESTO

HASHTAG is a movement to give permanence to Indian craftsmanship. We are the pause between trends — a moment of stillness in a world that moves too fast. Every piece is made in rare numbers, with patience and respect. Nothing is rushed, nothing is forced.
We stand for clarity of purpose, for discipline, for devotion.
We exist to carry India’s voice to the global stage — honest, enduring, and unshaken.

Founder

Sai Mishra

When Sai arrived in Galway for his master’s, he saw the streets speak a single language — global brands. Stores were crowded, conversations circled the same names. Yet, in all that noise, one silence was undeniable: India was missing.
A country with centuries of craft, heritage, and culture had no voice on the global stage. That silence became impossible to ignore. What began as a question soon turned into conviction. The seed of HASHTAG was planted.

Co-Founder

Vaibhav Chandra

Months later, Sai shared the vision with Vaibhav, his childhood friend. For them, it wasn’t a new conversation. They had spent years imagining, creating, failing, and beginning again. Each attempt had left behind lessons in persistence and belief.
When this idea came, Vaibhav didn’t need convincing. He had seen the same absence, felt the same silence. More than that, he trusted the fire in Sai’s words. Without hesitation, he chose to build alongside him.
What started as a thought between two friends became HASHTAG — not just a brand, but a movement to give permanence to Indian craftsmanship, and place it where it belongs: on the global stage.
